ZONES DESCRIPTION

In the area of the economic zones, the City of Osijek provides investors with:

  • land equipped with basic infrastructure (traffic areas, stormwater and sanitation drainage, water supply, gas supply, electricity and telephone systems)
  • benefits applied through entrepreneurship support institutions
  • its own Incentive and Relief Program for investors

Note: the City of Osijek does not have active tenders or incentive and relief programs for these zones. In case of interest, investors can contact the plot owners in these zones directly.

OVERVIEW OF THE ECONOMIC ZONES OF THE CITY OF OSIJEK

1. WAREHOUSE AND SERVICE ZONE

  • micro-location: - on the west side St Leopold Mandić Street; the entrance to Brijest on the south side; railway Osijek–Đakovo on the east side; bypass road around the city of Osijek on the north side
  • area – 60 ha
  • purpose: warehouses and services
  • All plots are owned by the users
  • infrastructure: the zone is equipped with full infrastructure (roads, stormwater drainage, public lighting, sewerage, water, electricity, gas, telecommunications)

2. ECONOMIC ZONE SOUTH

  • micro-location: - on the west and south side of the “S” road; on the east side St Leopold Mandić Street; bypass road on the north side
  • area: 155 ha
  • purpose: production; business and trade; fairs, sports and recreation
  • the zone is in the preparation stage (there is a conceptual design, the amendment of the Urban Development Plan is in progress)
  • infrastructure: the City of Osijek is in the process of solving the issue of land ownership

3. ECONOMIC ZONE WEST

  • micro-location: the area between the direction of Kopaonička and Vilajska streets, west of Risnjačka Street to the new intra-zone road
  • area: 1.81 ha
  • purpose: commercial; the zone is completely full
  • infrastructure: the zone is equipped with full infrastructure (roads, stormwater drainage, public lighting, sewerage, water, electricity, gas, telecommunications)

4. ECONOMIC ZONE TENJA

  • micro-location: at the entrance from the direction of Osijek to Tenja along the Osijek–Tenja road on the left
  • area: 5.62 ha
  • purpose: craft sector, small and medium enterprises
  • the zone is completely full (27 plots)
  • infrastructure: the zone is equipped with full infrastructure (roads, stormwater drainage, public lighting, sewerage, water, electricity, gas, telecommunications)
